Beacon Holds First Annual Golf Tournament

All proceeds benefit The Beacon

Press release

The Beacon is holding its First Annual Golf Tournament, on May 20, at Country Club of New Hampshire in North Sutton! All proceeds will be donated to The Beacon to help ensure our local newspaper will continue to provide the kind of community support we have come to expect and enjoy.

Foursomes will be established for this best ball scramble. Register as a single, with a buddy, or with your own foursome for a great morning of golf, conversation, laughs, followed by a hearty luncheon at the club house.

The luncheon will present speakers to update you on the how, what, and where the proceeds will be utilized and, more important, the why regarding the importance of a strong local newspaper to the local area. Schools, businesses, sports, clubs, concerns, politics, issues, local interests, and much more are brought to you by The Beacon. The Beacon represents the fabric that knits us all together.

Rain or shine, we are going to strike the pellet. Mark your calendar. Now practice your chip shots and putting; remember a good putt equals a 250-yard drive.

Single for $150; foursome for $600: putting green, driving range, cart, lunch, and speakers of “Masters” quality! Not a bad deal for a Monday — May 20!

Sponsorships are $250 and bring a number of recognitions and promotional benefits from The Beacon. Contact The Beacon for more information.

Go to Mail@nullAndoverBeacon.com to register. May 8 is the cutoff. The continued quality presence of The Beacon is a hole-in-one for every community member, from our kids to us “more experienced duffers.” Thank you for your support!
