South Danbury Church May News

Press release
Thanks to everyone who participated in our Easter Sunrise service, which was preceded by a spectacular display of colorful clouds, followed by a gathering of turkeys in the Hope Farm field, and, true to tradition, it snowed! Special thanks to Sandi Pierson and her guitar for leading us in “Amazing Grace” as our benediction.

Sunday worship at the South Danbury Church is at 11 AM, and all are welcome. We look back to March with thanks to Bonnie Nichols, who arranged with New Hampshire Adult and Teen Challenge to bring us an inspiring presentation and conversation about addiction recovery.

Looking ahead, on May 10, we’ll have the first of our Friday night “Humanities to Go” events, when Dan Billin will present the story of New Hampshire’s “Live Free or Die” motto. Bonnie is also working with New Hampshire Humanities to bring more of the popular Humanities to Go programs to the South Danbury Church. And Sandi Pierson will soon be presenting a Friday night program about her experiences hiking in New Hampshire and Vermont. Watch for news and details!
