The first annual Beacon Golf Tournament was held on May 20, at the Country Club of New Hampshire. Two dozen golfers enjoyed a sunny sky and a gorgeous course.

All proceeds from this event went directly to support The Beacon (Community Publishing of Andover, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) organization).

Our thanks go to Derek Lytle and his staff at Country Club of New Hampshire, for their guidance, support, and first-prize donation of four free rounds of golf, the winner of which was the Kearsarge Concrete team.

A special thank you also goes to Dave Blinn for helping make this event a success and, we hope, an annual fundraising event supporting our amazing local newspaper.
