Concord Coach Gets a Home, Thanks to Generous Support

By Nancy Teach

Recently, the Andover Lions Club was dissolved and the coach ownership has been transferred to the Town of Andover. An agreement has been completed that places the coach on Historical Society grounds in Potter Place. The coach will be housed in a new display barn adjacent to the Freight House on Depot Street. This custom structure for storage and display is now under construction (Fall 2024), thanks to the work and generous support of J & B Landscaping and Excavation, R. Smith Concrete, and J. R. Hazen Electric. The Andover Historical Society has secured $21,000 and is seeking financial support to reach our $45,000 goal. Your donation can be sent to the AHS, PO Box 167, Andover, NH 03216, or call Doug Phelps 802 310-1045. Thank you. Pictured here is an excavator being operated by Tyler Champagne.
