Erin Frost Earns Two Field Hockey Honors

Earns spots on All-State team and Twin State team

Congratulations to Erin Frost for being selected to the New Hampshire Field Hockey Coaches Association Division 2 First Team All-State. Two other young women from the Merrimack Valley High School team were selected for the Second Team All-State.

Erin was also selected by the Division 2 coaches to travel to Kingswood High School to try out for the New Hampshire Field Hockey Coaches Association Twin State Team. Over 60 field hockey players and seven goalies from the three divisions attended this event.

At the end of the day, Erin was one of 20 girls selected to the New Hampshire team. She will represent Merrimack Valley High School and New Hampshire in the New Hampshire/Vermont Twin State game to be played in June of 2014.

The game is played between the best high school seniors from New Hampshire and Vermont. Now in the 30th year of the series, New Hampshire holds a 17-9-3 edge. This year’s game will be played in Vermont, though the exact location has not been determined yet.
