Andrew Pinard’s zany family magic and comedy show returns to the area at the Franklin Opera House on Saturday, February 22, at 2 PM and 7 PM.

There will be fun for the whole family when Absolutely Magic and Company present a magic and comedy show at the historic Franklin Opera House in Franklin on Saturday, February 22. There will be a one-hour matinee performance at 2 PM followed by a full two-act show at 7 PM.

Produced by award-winning entertainer Andrew Pinard, the show will offer a whimsical mix of theater, sleight-of-hand, spooky comedy, and storytelling. Blending classic magic and comedy with a little help from volunteer assistants, Pinard draws spectators into his zany world of wonder where they leave the mundane world behind and inhabit a magical realm of the impossible and absurd where nothing is what it seems.

Along the way, audiences will experience some of the unique performance pieces including possible visits from: Fu Ling Hu (Oriental Magician), Morty (the Not-So Dummy), Professor Ossum: Mad Scientist, and more.

Pinard has performed his unique brand of magic and comedy for thousands of delighted audiences throughout New England and abroad including the Mount Washington Hotel and Resort, The Balsams Grand Resort, Mount Sunapee Ski Resort, Loon Mountain Ski Resort, Sandwich Fair, Andover Historical Society’s Old Time Fair, and as far afield as the South Bank in London, as well as Venice and Rome.

A one-act “family-style” performance is scheduled for 2 PM, with the full two-act show at 7 PM. Tickets are available on line at FranklinOperaHouse.org or by calling the box office at 934-1901. Tickets are also available at the door before the show. Refreshments are available.
