Choose Franklin Day is Looking for Exhibitors

May 10 event will celebrate Mother's Day

Plans are underway for the 10th annual Choose Franklin Community Day, sponsored by the Franklin Rotary Club, which will be held on Saturday, May 10 at Odell Park in Franklin.

The event will begin with a parade at 10 AM which will step off at Franklin High School and proceed easterly to downtown, turning on Smith Street and ending at Odell Park. This year’s theme is “Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Mother’s Day.”

A fair will be held at the park from 10 AM to 2 PM and will include vendors, crafts, food, games, amusements, and entertainment. Hope Community Church will provide a Wildlife Encounters show. Amusements will include a laser tag area, bounce house, climbing wall with bungee stations, and other inflatable activities.

Registration deadlines: March 21 for guaranteed space; through April 15 on a space-available basis, not guaranteed inclusion in pre-event publicity; after April 15, a $10 late fee will be assessed if space is available.
