Press release

I’m happy to report that we broke a fundraising record this year for Andover’s annual Fourth of July celebration, with a total of $9,027 for donations. Thanks to all who supported the Fourth of July Committee with monetary donations as well as by purchasing raffle tickets.

The total raised by selling raffle tickets was $633. The coffee table donated by Grevior Furniture was won by Dave Bates. Mike Falvey won the basket of Made in New Hampshire items ($100 value) donated by Back Door Farm of Sanbornton, Raccoon Ridge Sugar House of Salisbury, Highland Lake Apple Farm of Andover, Beth and Tim Frost, Judy Perreault, Richard Brewster, and Tarte Café and Bakery of Andover.

Marcus Johnson won the red, white, and blue afghan donated by Susan Aste. Rita Norander won the silver bracelet donated by Donna French. All are Andover residents.

The production team at The Andover Beacon did a great job with the Fourth of July program again this year, and we thank the many advertisers in the program for their support. Your generous donations provided Andover with a fabulous Fourth of July celebration.
