A very important part of preparing the Beacon for Charlie’s retirement has been Steve Foley taking on all the production responsibilities. Steve started at the Beacon laying out ads about two and a half years ago; since early this year he’s stepped up to handling all the layout of the Beacon and all the other community publications that the Beacon team helps with. But don’t look for Steve in the Beacon office — “the cloud” now allows him to do all his work from his home in Franklin while working cooperatively with the rest of the team.
