South Danbury Church News for March

By Linda Wilson

Thanks to all who gave so generously to our outdoor “Love Your Neighbor” drive-by fundraiser on February 12, for the Danbury Community Center “Home Goods Shelf.”

Instead of a worship service on Sunday, March 3, Bonnie Nichols has invited the “Adult and Teen Challenge of New Hampshire” recovery program to be with us at 11 AM for presentations and conversations. Everyone is invited, and all who are interested or would like to learn more, are encouraged to attend.

Bonnie is also working with NH Humanities to bring more of the popular “Humanities to Go” programs to the South Danbury Church. Watch for news and details!

Easter will be early this year, and we will have our traditional Maundy Thursday worship in the evening of March 28, and our Easter Sunrise Service at dawn on March 31.

Sunday worship at the South Danbury Church is at 11 AM and all are welcome. For church news, programs, events, and announcements of worship services, follow us on our Facebook page at “Friends of the South Danbury Christian Church,” watch for the outdoor sign at the church, call/text 603-744-8073, or email southdanburychurch@nullgmail.com. If you would like to be on our mailing list, send us an email. Please contact us if you need a ride to attend worship or events. We’ll be happy to help.
