Candidates – Library Trustees: Caroline Moulton Ratzki

Town News - Town Meeting - Candidate - Library - Ratzki - Moulton“There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away”

I am running for Library Trustee because Emily Dickinson’s words are still true today. Books are great!

I think Emily Dickinson would be happy to see how our public libraries have evolved in the 125 years since she wrote that poem.

Today, our two beautiful libraries offer so much more than just books. You’ll find computers and magazines, cozy nooks with WiFi access, eBooks and Audio books, children’s books and Large Print.

Come for Story Hour and creative events for young and old. There is truly something for everyone.

The challenge is for our libraries to stay updated and continue to be an essential component of our town.

As a trustee, I would work hard to support our libraries in their mission to evolve with the times and serve everyone in our community.
