Sunapee-Ragged-Kearsarge Greenway hike leader Lee Carvalho and her brother Derek Mansell led seven hikers along Proctor and Greenway trails on a strenuous hike to the top of Ragged Mountain’s Bulkhead on August 15. The group’s next stop was Balanced Rock, which (as usual) proved immune to all attempts to dislodge it, including Anne Hewitt’s, shown here.
