Upcoming events at the Bachelder Library in East Andover for the month of April include a Harry Potter Film Festival, a Book Club Meeting, and an Art Show. For April School Vacation Week we will show Harry Potter films. On Tuesday, April 23, we will show Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.  On Thursday, April 25, we will show Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. On Friday, April 26, we will show Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. All films will start at 6 PM. Feel free to bring pillows, chairs, cushions, and magic wands.  Popcorn will be served. Please, no unaccompanied children under 13.

On Wednesday, April 24, the Book Club will meet at 7 PM to discuss the book, Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood by Trevor Noah.  Both libraries will have copies of the book, so swing by and pick up a copy if you’d like to join the discussion.

Finally, there will be an Art Opening featuring the artwork of the students of the East Andover Village Preschool.  The artists will be at the library for the opening to discuss their artwork. Details have yet to be worked out, please look for announcements around town.
