Meet the Trustees, June 21
The Andover Historical Society welcomes the community to an Open House at the Proctor Chapel, on Wednesday, June 21, at 7 PM. The AHS functions as a steward of the campus in Potter Place and the Tucker Mountain Schoolhouse in East Andover. Guests may enjoy light refreshments, meet the Andover Historical Society trustees, and hear about Andover’s history.

Old Time Fair August 6
The Old Time Fair is the second biggest annual event in Andover and always happens the first Sunday in August. This year the Old Time Fair takes place on Sunday, August 6, 9 to 2 PM, on Depot Street. Festivities include craft vendors, BBQ, live music by Lindsey Schust & the Ragged Mountain Band, new guided walking tours of the campus, hand-car rides, kids’ games, history demonstrations, and more!

The Andover Historical Society is looking for interested volunteers to help on the day of the fair and also to help with set-up and break-down. Anyone wishing to work with a fun team, please contact AHS by phone, 603 735-5232.

Visiting the AHS Museum
The Andover Historical Society has opened its Depot Street museum for the season, through Columbus Day. Visitors can experience Andover’s unique history firsthand, on Saturdays, 10 AM to 3 PM, and Sundays, 12:30 to 3 PM, or by special arrangement for a private tour: andoverhistory.org.
