First Hub Market Day Exceeds Expectations

Shown during set-up, the first indoor Market Day @ The Hub, held on Sat., Nov. 11, attracted ten vendors, and almost 100 enthusiastic shoppers. Items for sale included locally raised meat, hand-made soap, knitted, crocheted and hand sewn items, baked goods, skin care products and Christmas ornaments.

The next Market Day will be on Saturday, December 9, 10 AM-2 PM. A final decision as to future Market Days will be made following the December 9 event, but the hope is that such market days will continue at The Hub on the second Saturday of each month through the spring. Stay tuned and watch for the yellow yard signs declaring “Market Day @ The Hub” around town.
