On January 17, the Friends of the Northern Rail Trail held their first Board of Directors meeting of the new year. A complement of 16 directors and friends conducted a wide range of business, complete with hearty conversation about our Trail and our region. We always welcome others —  members or friends — to attend.

Recent weeks have presented more than the usual winter challenges, including storms that left a major repair agenda, on top of the improvements already planned. We are reaching out to the community in fund-raising and volunteer efforts, and invite all to join our 59–mile mission.
